Require Clients to Maintain a Valid Payment Method on File

We’d like to request a feature that prevents clients from removing their payment method on file unless a new valid payment method is added first.

Right now, clients enrolled in auto-pay can remove their saved payment method entirely, which effectively disables auto-pay and bypasses our service agreement terms—particularly our 30-day cancellation policy. This creates unnecessary billing issues and service confusion.

Ideally, the system would:

  • Require clients to always have one valid payment method on file

  • Block the removal of a payment method unless a replacement is entered first

  • Ensure auto-pay remains uninterrupted unless service is properly canceled

This small change would make a big difference in protecting recurring revenue and honoring agreed-upon terms.
